Bali is well known for Thousands of Temples. Each village has no less than three temples and each family has one at least. Besides the regular celebration of all Hinduism in Bali, there are many temple ceremony will be held in every villages.
Tumpek Pengatag (Uduh) - July 26, 2008
"Tumpek Pengatag" day is devoted to Almighty God as their manifestation of "Sanghyang Sangkara", the Lord of all food-plants and vegetation, when blessing ceremonies are focused at gardens, rice field and plantation, for good crops and products, throughout Bali. This ceremony is related to the preparation of "Galungan Day". The Human being must inform to the Gods of plantations that there will be Galungan ceremony in 25 days.

The Balinese Hindus celebrate Galungan Day to celebrate the victory of virtue (DHARMA) upon evil (ADHARMA) when the entire island brightened with festivities while "Penjor" the tall-artistically-decorated-bamboo-poles stuck at every house-entrance adorn the along sides of the roads symbolizing prosperity.
Kuningan Day – August 30, 2008
Kuningan is the day when the Gods accompanied by the ancestors come to visit the earth, but the visit only until twelve noon. On this day the Hindus are suggested to do self-introspection by doing a meditation for human's prosperity.
